August Bertrams GmbH press-brakes bent profiles from the smallest part up to the maximum bending length of 12,050 mm — on 14 CNC press brakes with up to 1,000 tonnes of press force, in sheet thicknesses from 0.75 to 15 mm and in all cold-formable materials.
The 1,000-tonne system with twelve metres of processing length, commissioned in 2023, makes long profiles in one piece possible: no joints, no weld seams, no tolerance chain across several segments. For the other side of the spectrum, a TruBend 7050 has been in the plant since 2022, on which small parts are bent quickly and economically.

From blank to finished profile
The blanks come from in-house — from shear cutting, punching or laser processing. After press braking, the profile moves on seamlessly to welding and coating. Which bending radii your material can tolerate is checked by engineering before manufacturing.

Why are long profiles in one piece better than pieced-together ones?
Every joint means a weld seam, rework and an additional tolerance. A continuously press-braked profile is more dimensionally accurate, manufactured faster and usually cheaper too.
