Complex parts in a single operation
On our TruMatic 7000 we combine punching and laser cutting into a single operation: punch-laser processing up to 7,000 × 1,500 × 8 mm, fully automatic up to 4,000 × 1,500 × 8 mm.
The punching tool takes on what it does best — hole patterns, embossing, extrusions, countersinks, mechanical engravings and threads. The laser then cuts the free outer contour. Forming operations arise in the same pass, without a second machine and without re-clamping. Less handling means: shorter throughput times, tighter tolerances between operations and lower unit costs in volume production.

For which parts is the combination worthwhile?
Whenever a part needs both: recurring form elements and free contours. Pure hole patterns are manufactured more cheaply by punching, pure contours by laser processing. After processing, the part moves on seamlessly to press braking and coating — planned by production planning within the same order.
