What cathodic dip coating achieves
In cathodic dip coating, the component is lowered into an electrically conductive dip tank; driven by direct current, the paint is deposited uniformly across the entire surface — even in cavities and at inner edges. The layer is then baked on in the oven.
The result is a closed, characteristically very uniform protective film that serves as a stand-alone corrosion protection for parts installed out of sight — or as a primer beneath a powder coating (duplex system) for components permanently exposed to the weather.

Designed for the e-coat process — from the very start
So that the dip tank reaches everywhere and drains again, a component needs drainage openings and well-thought-out suspension points. Our engineering and production planning takes this into account already at the first draft — so no part is manufactured that cannot later be coated cleanly.
